The Expo 2020 Dubai festive pass has been extended until January 7, 2022. Visitors with Expo 2020 Dubai’s Festive Pass will be able to attend the exhibition site for free, for an additional week. Previously, these tickets were granted unlimited access only until December 31, 2021. The cost of a festive multi-day pass for adults aged 18 to 59 years old constitutes AED 95 (USD 26). The ticket also provides 10 smart queue bookings for participating pavilions, venues and attractions. It is worth reminding visitors that children under 18, seniors over 60, as well as people of determination can visit the international exhibition for free during the 6 months.

Organizers of the event also stated that holders of the Weekday Offer ticket will be able to use the ticket between Monday and Friday, starting from January 3. This innovation is in conjunction with the decision of the UAE government to adjust the working week in order to better meet the requirements of international partners.

Expo 2020 will host a big show with world-famous DJ’s and 2 firework displays on New Year’s Eve. The celebration will be held from 3 PM to 4 AM the following morning. This time was chosen specifically in order to align with different time zones around the world.

At the end of December 2021, the total number of visitors reached 8,067,012. Organizers of Expo 2020 Dubai stated that some venues may close for the purpose of non-proliferation of coronavirus infection. Closed venues will be subject to deep cleaning and sanitization. At the moment, the exhibition has implemented safety measures such as mandatory mask-wearing for visitors and participants. Additionally, all international participant staff, contractors and service providers are vaccinated in an obligatory order.
