This week, on Tuesday, July 4th, the Dubai real estate market raked in over AED 4.1B (USD 1.1B) in real estate transactions in a single day, as reported by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
Sales of villas and apartments made up the bulk of the number of transactions, 384 in all, worth AED 786.6M (USD 214.2M). Included in this category are 74 land plot sales valued at AED 1.22B (USD 332.2M), bringing the total number of real estate sales to 458.
Additionally, mortgage deals and gift deals made up another 98 and 65 transactions, respectively, with total values reaching AED 1.29B (USD 351.3M) and AED 851.86M (USD 547M), respectively.
Eighty villas and apartments and 18 land plots were acquired with a mortgage, contributing AED 135.24M (USD 37M) and AED 1.15B (USD 313.1M), respectively, to the final total for the day.
